Books for High School Girls

Hello!

Ever since I could read, it seems as if I was always found with a book in hand.  My mom even said that she didn’t want to teach me to read too early, because she is very wise and discerning and knew that I would devour any good book I could get my hands on :).  Through her recommendations and many other close friends’, I have read many good books for school and leisure that have stuck to my must-read-again list.  Even classics have proven time and again to be so much more interesting than contemporary novels if one takes the time to understand the writing styles.

However, since there have been books I have read with awkward parts in them, I hope that in making this list it will steer you towards that which will benefit your mind and your time.  There are so many books out there for young women nowadays, but a good amount of them have unpleasant scenes that some girls would rather skip over.  Therefore, the following list is one with books I have chosen because of their lovely truths, good characters, and gripping plots that will make any of these books worth your time.
